SALES-Sales Analyst (2011-11)
General Purpose of the Job:
Collects and evaluates sales data and analyzes market and product conditions to measure the attainment of sales objectives. Prepares sales forecasts, recommends quotas for sales representatives, advises on changes in promotional efforts and generate information to facilitate decision making.
Essential Duties
- The Sales Analyst is responsible for the collection, monitoring, analysis and reporting of sales related data in an ongoing effort to increase sales productivity and profitability. This individual must collect sales records and evaluate performance based on sales goals while taking into consideration current market conditions and product competitiveness in the marketplace.
- The development and daily tracking of key performance indicators (KPI’s) will be critical to enhance decision making and understanding of the business from the Product, Sales Execution, Agent and Consumer perspective. Ongoing tracking of trends and indicators will play a key role on daily market development and product penetration as well as to facilitate the process to identify actions for the field sales organization.
- The Sales Analyst will create both standardized and custom reports to conduct quantitative sales analysis at multiple levels (Product, Territory, Agent and Sales Representative); this individual must develop standardized tools, processes and methodologies aimed to improve productivity and operational efficiency. The periodical improvement, maintenance and optimization of the sales report structure is responsibility of this role.
- The Sales Analyst will conduct product surveys and analysis to determine product competitiveness in the marketplace identifying product deficiencies and advantages and how we compare to the competition.
- The Sales Analyst is responsible for preparing new market launching strategies which includes plan preparation and execution for proper and successful territories development.
- This individual is responsible for monitoring promotional efforts, marketing campaigns and assessing results as well as documenting effectives for future reference and implementation.
- The Sales Analyst plays a key role in the operational management of the sales department running monthly reports such as FSS commissions, Agent incentive payments, RMT payment, Field supply fulfillment, Inventory management, Vendor relationships and Budget tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity.
- Collect sales records and trends to evaluate performance measured against sales quotas.
- Analyze sales performance records, interpret results of overall sales,
- Assist Management in sales forecast including sales to goal and sales to forecast variance analysis.
- Analyze market line of business competitiveness (products, agents, competition, etc) to determine and establish a baseline for action and execution changes
- Align field efforts with product management team by generating a weekly-monthly competitive analysis report at different levels (Product, Agent, Market)
- Forecasting by conducting a quantitative analysis including trend identification and assessment of market opportunity and risk, probability modeling.
- Short and long range productivity forecast by market, state, product.
- Analyze results and setup repots containing respective conclusions, ideas and recommendations.
- Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives including local promotions and field marketing efforts
- Communicate results to local field Managers in order to support informed business decisions by providing in depth analysis and recommendations
Job Requirements
- Bilingual English Spanish
- College degree in business administration or similar
- 5 to 7 years experience in sales
- 2 years experience managing personnel
- Ability to perform complex analysis such as, forecasting short and long term probability modeling, consumer analysis, competitiveness analysis etc.
- Ability to build and maintain complex systems that perform analysis, organize data and create reports from various sources to facilitate planning, decision making, and daily identification of trends and indicator at multiple levels (Market, Product, Agent)
- Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources
- Ability to coordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to covey complex information to broad audience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and MapPoint
- Excellent group presentation skills
Location
Preference is Texas and Illinois but if right candidate will consider NYC metro area.
SALES-Financial Services Manager (FSM) (2011-11)
Unidos is seeking a Financial Services Manager to achieve goals and objectives for the assigned division of an industry leading financial product company. This candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team division and further developing and establishing mutually beneficial relationships to increase sales and market share. Person will be responsible for the implementation of our business plans while expanding our customer base and providing leadership to the sales field.
Locations:
Northwest, Midwest, Southeast, Southwest and West regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop account strategies in accordance with overall company strategy in line with Company’s vision and values.
- Responsible for managing the Unidos sales team division and further developing and establishing mutually beneficial relationships with Agents to increase market share.
- Manage, coach, and train Financial Services Specialist (FSS) and prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Plan and lead all Agent acquisition activities consistent with HQ best practices by conducting regular reviews of business performance and promotion strategies.
- Execute and manage Agent Management activities.
- Report accurately detailed store surveys to determine best money transfer stores in market area.
- Create, manage and execute incentive programs.
- Generate and maintain accurate reports and provide timely feedback to senior management.
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer goods & services area.
- Candidate must possess skills in problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to effectively communicate with fellow colleagues, senior leaders and customers.
- Experienced in working in a rapidly evolving fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines and exceeding goals.
- Demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customer.
- Meticulously organized, process driven, persuasive, adaptable and innovative.
- Ability to motive a sales team under the intensity of a sales environment and thrives on managing multiple tasks.
- Spanish fluency required.
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
